Andre and I retired from running a small four-star hotel and restaurant on the outskirts of Geneva, Switzerland twelve years ago.

We had first come to Limnos for holidays in 1996 and decided to settle here permanently.

We will be delighted to welcome you to this peaceful place, surrounded by fields and pastures. We live here all year round, and tend a small farm with olive trees, fruit trees. almond trees, pastures, and a large kitchen garden. We share all this with a horse, two donkeys, chickens, a couple of pigs, a few sheep, five cats and two dogs....Mailo and Deedee.

We want you to feel welcome and at home during your stay at Ataraxia. We will be here to welcome you in person on arrival. The house will be ready for you with all basic foodstuffs stocked, and a few local goodies to try, as well as homemade jams and conserves, eggs from our chickens, and fruits and vegetables from the garden when available.

We will provide you with a detailed map of the island, and any help you might require to find the best tavernas, beaches, villages, and sites of interest.

We speak English, French, and some Greek.

We will always respect your privacy and freedom, while at the same time, as your neighbours, we will be here to help you during your stay in any way we can.

Ataraxia is the concept of a trouble-free life in Epicurean philosophy. We hope you will find it here at Saravari Beach.
